Cathedral Consort Choir with that of St Mark, Portsea sang a service for Candlemas
Amazing cathedral who always put on a perfect service for anyone. Has a little shop toilets and can light a candle for passed loved ones.
Nice blend where the new meats the old. Very good choir, they do there best sharing there time between the old front and new old part. Though this could be helped further with better use of pa system to pipe the singing from the other half.
What a funny place. Fascinating history, a mish mash of different times. Why they built rhe new nave below the original beats me.
As someone who's honoured to be a part of the choir it's a lovely place and extremely inclusive. It's also got a lot of history packed into its only recently built walls.
