Barrells arranged the funeral of my late uncle in the latter half of this year. From the first meeting they were professional, kind and considered in all dealings and this never wavered. Their commitment to treating people with dignity and respect is exceptional. We are a small, rather eclectic group of family members, some of whom have had extremely challenging lives, and yet they accommodated each of us without judgement and we were never made to feel anything less than deserving of their care. For my mother, who found her brothers death especially difficult, it was as restful and peaceful a process as it could have been, for which I am very grateful. Simon Thetford was our point of contact and he struck the perfect balance between practicality and sensitivity on all issues from the financial side to dealing with the coroners office.
