Barman didn't know what ale was couldn't understand, had limited drinks options, lovely old pub with a confused identity one side has a theme but the pub side needs some loving to be honest as the owners have neglected the pub side the bar man didn't know the history of the pub ignorant. Enterprise need to sort this out. As a restaurant it fails as food salty and as a pub it fails.
I wouldnt even give this place one star so very very rude so slow looked at as like we shouldnt have gone in there drinks were vile food was so expensive and tasteless I wouldnt recommend this place one bit my friends boy asked for a can of Coke I gave him 2 pound thinking that would be enough and they tried to charge 2.20 for a CAN!! And wouldnt let him off 20p disgusting!!!
The food was OK. But the owner lady was extremely rude and dismissive. We asked some friendly simple questions - she didn't really want to reply and just made us feel so uncomfortable and embarrassed!! She is slightly nicer to English speaking customers but she is super grumpy with Chinese customers which I don't understand why. We decided we won't go there again and afterwards we heard similar experience from others. It was so cool inside and we had to wear our coats the whole time! Please improve for your benefits. No need to be so rude for no reason!
