Always good for a pint. They have sports on the big screen and the place always seams packed. Worth a visit if you are in town.
Very average bar with staff who serve you slowly with limited interest. Good for sport as bar has several screens/tv's. Food ok but Wetherspoons across road much better.
I went for a early Christmas lunch with work on 30/11/18 as we did this last year and were happy then so thought we would do it again. It was great value at 11.95 for three courses. It was tasty and hot, all enjoyed their meals. The service was good and made sure we were happy without being intrusive.
Decent value for money with the student burger and all food is genuinely great.Besides stealing my jacket for a whole 2 minutes and all they did was put it in lost and found..he wasnt lost. He's just misunderstood.Besides this i liked the place and am very happy to go anytime..without a jacket.
It was the first time I had been to this establishment, the reason for my visit was that I had been invited to a social meeting which went extremely well, this was partly due to the pleasant atmosphere and the helpful and friendly service from the staff. I would be more than happy to give Yates a high recommendation. I am looking forward to my next meeting there. I forgot to mention that the time of my meeting, which was between 11:00 to 13:00 hrs.
