This car park uses number plate recognition but has no barrier or pay and display system. I paid for a ticket but, unknown to me, the payment didn't go through despite the machine saying that everything was OK. The first I knew of this was when I received a parking notice 3 weeks later, and of course NCP didn't want to know. A quick Google search would suggest that this is a regular occurance, presumably NCP hopes that people will just pay the 'fine'. Avoid parking here, the multi storey is cheaper anyway I have since found out.
