Camping via a local club or section this is a great venue with plenty to do inside or outside of the fort.
This was a Co-op Members day visit and was a very informative day indeed. On arrival we were offered a drink before splitting the group in two. Our group were talked to about the Pompey Pal's, those who joined up together from the Portsmouth area in the First World War. After lunch we were taken through the tunnels deep under the fort. We also went into the remains of the Cold War bunker, a time warp. Well worth a visit.
