Free parking, lots of eating places. Some specialist shops and a cinema. A pretty place to visit

Nice location but most restaurants are now pizza, pasta, burger, grill establishments - no variety. Tea Rooms are good. Nice for a drink in warmer weather & sit outside. Very few shops now.
A bit disappointing as I had remembered it to be a lot busier and vibrant than in was during my last visit in November 2018. A few nice places to eat but almost no shops, the gallery on the top level is gone, too. Won't be rushing back anytime soon.
Mainly restaurants but one or 2 shops such as Pavers which has improved their products, not so much 'little old lady ' anymore. Restaurants varied from Indian (good), Italian, etc. Cinema complex a plus useful for a meal before or after a film. I enjoy going there.
