This was our first visit. The pies were really tasty and the mash was so creamy. It was a yummy, birthday treat and we will definitely visit again. Friendly and helpful staff.
The food was delicious and the environment ties in perfectly with setting. The staff were excellent. I recommend trying the Nocturne porter beer with a pie if you get the chance. One key thing to note is that they gave the most comprehensive gluten free selection I have ever seen, something that is very important for me and my father. Most gluten free dishes I have tried before (especially those consisting of pastry) tend to be dry and flavourless, but I'm pleased to say that this wasn't the case here.

Lovely food, great atmosphere, nice service, fantastic menu, varied drinks. Can't go wrong coming here. Vegan options are extensive as well. Definitely recommend!
Great place if you like pie and mash. Large selection of pies catering for all dietary needs. Quite small so be prepared to browse the vinyl whilst you wait for a table.. It will be worth it.. You might find a hidden gem.
