Absolute waste of time this place, reception staff are useless, waiting times are ridiculous, I booked an appointment with a doctor and when I arrived I was seen by a nurse when I questioned it was told there aren't even doctors in on a Saturday but they didn't bother telling me that on the phone. I will be changing practice asap.
Second time here in 2 years and the only thing is a waste of time and it seems they dont do anything other than prescribing the same 2 medications for 2 different situations. Now they only take appointments if you call at 8am for the same day. Despite that when you get in you still have to wait 1 hour after your appointment to be called in and not even a sorry for the delay. An absolute joke what this health centre is.
This practice is a joke!! On hold constantly when trying to make an urgent appointment, this morning I was on hold over an hour to have the receptionist put the phone down saying that they couldn't hear me. I then went in to book an appointment face to face, only to be told that the practice is closed from 13.00 and would have to go to St Mary's treatment centre. (Which is a far better option). Guildhall walk healthcare centre is a joke!
AWFUL! Firstly, they wrote my address down wrong when I registered meaning my referral letter for a procedure never got to me until I traced it by booking another appointment with the GP and he printed everything off. Now the referral he apparently did is nonexistent according to the appointment booking service at the hospital and couldn't trace me at all. It doesn't help how I literally have no idea what the doctor is called as there's no signs or anything with the doctors name on it. Couldn't be more annoyed as this is quite an important procedure and have been waiting months! Advice for people wanting to sign up, DON'T! I would rather travel an hour to my appointments then go here, luckily there's one fairly close to this one.
The wait is always at least over 45 minutes, they always conveniently blame it on emergency. You try to ring them with emergecy and whatever it is, youd be sent to A&E. One of male doctors is very bad, feels superior, jokes about peoples conditions and puts patients down. Very unprofessional. This surgery is good for those who do not work, have plenty of time and just want a chat with a doctor. If you have understanding of time, work and want decent treatment- keep looking for a better one.
