Yes there is a wait but worth it. I had to visit st marys a few times accompany adults and kids. Staff was professional and very helpful every time. Thanks for all your hard work!

They should route out those that have cough and colds and send them home and that would free up time for those that need immediateattention. The staff do their best from the 2 we saw, the receptionist and the "assessor". Gave up after nearly 2 hours, with what could be a broken bone in foot or a very bad sprain after slipping down stairs, come back another day if problem has not subsided.

Visited Christmas Eve, was surprisingly quicker than I thought it'd be. All staff seemed busy, efficient and friendly.

So not only is this the only walk-in centre in Portsmouth, but a walk-in centre that has a very quick turnaround time because of quite possibly the worst empathy and care towards patients in treating them like numbers through a sliding door. You get seen by a member of staff for a few seconds (yep not even minutes are given) and dismissed with poor advice and painkillers. My poor sister who is a postgraduate student and suffering from pain that makes walking impossible, which did not improve after using painkillers and even got worse after applying the first advice they gave was basically refused further help or referral to find out what is wrong. I didn't realise getting an X-ray is impossible in 2018 or referrals to a specialist. And last time I checked, painkillers treat the pain, they don't solve the root cause of the problem which needs to be diagnosed. This is her first time needing help from this place and the lack of professionalism is astounding, I'm sure from looking at the other reviews, this place gets away with it because there is no standards to uphold with rival clinics. If the source of my sister's pain turns out to be something serious that was overlooked, I will be making a further complaints to boards and raising awareness of the poor practice. It is so frustrating that there are no other clinics that can help. If you need to go to this walk-in because you have no choice, make sure to record everything that is said and take someone with you who has a thick skin in case someone tries to easily dismiss you because you are a student or someone vulnerable. I hope by 2019 things turn around, it's alarming the number of 1 star reviews this place receives.

Not helpful at all and a waste of time. The wait was short but then they told me they couldnt help me because their doctor was out, something they failed to tell me when I called just an hour before.
