Beautiful walk around the oasis of nature in the city
place emanating energies of creative good. Great place. One of the few in the world.
Frog Lake itself is inaccessible due to all the vegetation, brambles, thorns etc. and the place is overgrown and not maintained from what I can gather when I visited in June 18 thus negative feedback for the Lake however very impressed with The People's Memorial which is privately funded Memorial to those very sadly lost in British Armed Conflicts;this is a tranquil oasis with lovely benches;greenery;bird boxes etc. away from busyness of the city, also great coastal views of Langstone Harbour and not far from 1 pub to the north and 2 pubs to the south;within walking distance following coastal path.
An oasis on the edge of the city. Foxes, rabbits and birds galore. Evening to dusk is best for wild life. If you walk south you hit Thatchers Inn and Oyster house past locks boat club and over Milton locks. North you get to a Harvster halfway to Farlington marshes.Great to just wander through and look for a different route each time.
Three ponds right on the foreshore. Lots of birds and never busy even at the height of summer. Lovely walk along the foreshore to a pub where you can sit outside and look out at the sea whilst you sip your drink or have a bite to eat before making your way back again.
