Lots to do every weekend for free in summer months. It's a shame the public have to litter there are plenty of bins.
Coming here on a cold crisp sunny winters day can be just as fun as a hot sunny summer's day. Plenty to do with a big park, sea front, arcades & lots of green to run around on or just sitting and chilling. The public toliets will cost you 20p but still always worth a visit.
A large area of open grass land on the seafront with many cafes and restaurants and car parks. Some trees offering shade but in the summer you will need the factor 30 and your car will be like an oven when you get back to it. It's quite open and exposed to the elements.
Something for young and old. Good for relaxing either on the seaside or lawned area. Summer time has lots of fun things to do with amusement themes, fairs, shows and sport events.
Quite an amazing huge public outdoor space on the outskirts of Portsmouth city. Great place to picnic and have some fun. Really nice because you are near to the beach where large ferries and cargo boats travel past to enter the harbour adding a surreal touch because from certain viewpoints it looks like large ships traveling across the playing fields. On the outskirts of common, you can find bars, restaurants and amusements. A space that has something for everyone.
