GI bread, gin, milk, fish, fruit, vegetables and wild rocket, the staples of life oh and furniture polish. Like the new larger store but have to always nudge myself to scan my bill in conjunction with inputting car registration. Forgot once at Eastleigh and having thrown away my receipt, I had to pay a hefty fine so don't anyone make the same mistake as me.
It's good for certain items like meat, alcohol and the odd bargain. I wouldn't buy everything in one supermarket alone. The new and improved store is much nicer.
How do you review a Lidl?It's the same as every other one!Does get very busy at peak times, so try and avoid if you can.The demographic on Google will show you when it is usually quieter.
This Lidl underwent a change of ownership when the building expansions took place about a year ago. From being our favourite Lidl, we suddenly found much higher prices than before, less freshness and quality. We seldom visit this Lidl nowadays, though its become so much quieter its almost peaceful, with plenty of parking.
As usual Lidl offers great value for money. The staff are helpful and the shelves were well stocked. Just wished Lidl would bring back their printed 3 ply toilet roll...
