Poped by this morning, was asked if i wanted to sit in or takeaway, I still had half hour til my train and was happy to pay sit in prices. I asked if I could have my coffee in a take away cup so if I hadn't finished I could take it with me. When I received my coffee I was asked to leave, lady explained there's different prices for sitting in (which I understand as that's the case with majority of places) The coffee itself was nice however the customer service could be better.
Good coffee but worst Mille Feuille I've ever eaten! Sweet blanchmange with cardboard pastry! Sorry if you sell yourself as a patisserie you really should be able to get this right!
this is a wonderful place to visit. it is a unique/quirky place and that only adds to the overall charm.the cakes are nothing short of fantastic and they make a great coffee, miles ahead of the usual chain brand dotted around.the prices are very reasonable in my opinion and the staff are always very helpful and pleasant.the interior is a little small but that is not really a problem as people seem to recognise this and sit accordingly.well worth a visit and well deserved 5 stars...
There is always a great selection of cakes available here, and they are decently priced. You can eat in and order a hot drink with your cake, however, since the seating area itself is quite small, it can be overcrowded, and it can take a long time to be served. When I get cakes to take away, the service is always fast.
Really good cakes, but serving disappointing. We waited to long for ordering and an other waiting to get it. Most disappointing thing is that we get cakes in paper plates, especially when is 1,15 more expensive per cake than take away. Paper plates in such nice location? You are wasting our nature. Management should think for some improvement.
