great shop very helpful and really great prices
Absolutely appalled at the young boy working behind the counter me and my wife went into to look for sawdust as I bent down to look at the product I had a bag in my hand from another store and asked my wife to put it in one of the other bags we had so I could grab the product we wanted to purchase. A few moments later we heard the young man agressivley shout excuse me what did you just put in your bag?. I said a game from a previous shop he demanded to see the contents of the bag so my wife emptied the bag onto the shop floor unpon proving we hadn't stolen anything I asked for an apology this was refused even after he embarrassed me and my wife Infront of customers I asked to speak with a manager and was told to speak with the man at the back of the store. I tried to explain the situation but the man seemed unable to comprehend me perhaps or he just didn't care. This man asked the young boy to apologise and he still refused continued to argue and say they get a lot of theft in their store bare in mind we WERE regulars and have even spoken to this young man several times for advice on our pets. Advised them we would shop else where and they just didn't care.
pet price is a amazing place they are so nice also they have everything from squirrel nuts to tropical fish 5 star
Asked if I needed help, commented on the products I bought and offered advise, knew their stuff re dog food, good natural brands and natural treats stocked
Recent refurb has seen this pet shop much improved. Fab variety of dog toys at a competitive price, some of which you are unable to get at the larger stores. Good range of cat and small animal care stuff with all the aquarium and fish equipment still in stick too. A hidden gem!
