Amazing and super friendly staff. My cat recently had a blocked bladder which he previously had twice last year. He's very anxious so gets stressed very easily and Vets Now did a wonderful job at making sure he was okay throughout the nights he stayed with them. Thank you so much! Keep up the great work!
Made us very welcome and kept us informed on what they would be doing. The vet was very caring and made our dog seem at ease.
Receptionist was very friendly. The practice is a little hard to find if you've never been there before but the recepionist actually came out and waved us down the road when we came by car and got a little lost!I took my rat there recently who was bleeding heavily from her vagina but the vet wasn't an exotics specialist so couldn't do much for her due to her size and his lack of familiarity with rats. He was professional and helpful though and I appreciated him admitting he wasn't confident treating rats. The small animal consultation fee was just shy of 100 which isn't awful. It was frustrating to go to an emergency services and for there not to be someone with exotics experience but I understand my choice of pet is fairly uncommon. My rat ended up needing emergency surgery 2 days later for an abscess and blood clot in her cervix. But overall a good experience and everyone was very friendly! Would recommend.
The care was good but the cost is a rip off, over 115 more than other vets for out off hours help, Harbour Vets was just 91.80. I dont know how you can justify charging so much, i will not be using you again.
After 3 months of care at Sanctuary, my dog was rushed in for an emergency appointment to be put down on Remembrance Sunday. I am in the military so was already having a hard day remembering fallen friends.I knew that the appointment was going to be hard so called in advance and asked if the bill could be emailed to me and I would settle it a day or two after, however I was informed that all bills had to be settled prior to leaving the appointment. (I am not sure if this is standard practice or just because it was On a weekend, my vet had told me that I didn't have to pay on the day originally).I got to the vets and was told that the receptionist would collect the vet. I was left in the waiting room for over 5 minutes, by which point I was in a state.I signed the paperwork and paid prior to going into the consultation room. The vet was very nice, he gave me time alone with Rocky before and after he was sedated and was quiet and sympathetic to my current state. The procedure, although heart wrenching, was done with professionalism and gentleness that has left me with feeling that my dog had a good death.About a week after Rocky was put to sleep, I received a card from the veterinary clinic offering their condolences, a very kind and simple gesture. On the whole, I have been very pleased with how Rocky was cared for at Sanctuary, both illness and health.I would have preferred that the last hour I had with him wasn't spent having to pay a bill (this I felt was very impersonal- a business deal rather than caring for a loved pet), and I would have preferred to not be left in a waiting room contemplating the procedure and the horrendous task of watching your dog die in your arms (I called 5 minutes away so they knew I was going to be there soon).
