Unprofessional dentist. Damaged my teeth. Will never ever come back.
Recently visited for check-up & light work and was very pleased with the whole experience. The surgery has a friendly atmosphere and the staff were all very polite and considerate- qualities that are missing from so many other surgeries.Dentist himself made sure to explain the procedure and what was happening at each stage. Very easy process at reception too. Highly Recommended if looking for a surgery in Portsmouth.
I was with this dentist for over a year and attended my checkups when requested. On each inspection, the dentist looked at my teeth, told me to get them cleaned and took my money. The last appointment was about a month ago. This week, my filling fell out and I contact the dentist for an appointment. When I was advised on the fee, I was informed that I would have to pay for a further inspection in addition to any treatment that I receive. I expected these fees but I could not help stating that the dentist does very little for the money and with that, the receptionist 'sacked' me. I would like to praise the dentist but I cannot. She did no treatment in a year and my teeth hurt and when I complained I was treated contemptuously. Is this is the future of the NHS?! Very, very poor treatment.
