Absolutely love attending their events. Can thoroughly recommend the Beer Festival, the Rum & Gin Festival, Burn's Night and Star Gazing. Get your tickets early as they sell out fast.
Very impressive and takes long time to get through. Lack of description what is what. Other than that all good and definitely worth to visit.
Fantastic warship which has been beautifully preserved and displayed. The on board cafe is small and lovely and the artefacts thoughtfully presented. It's amazing that the ship still looks so good considering it was stripped out and remained a hulk for many years before being saved for the museum.Brilliant to explore and see how naval technology advanced from the days of Nelson and the Victory.
Is this the first deterrent? Warrior is an amazing, unique piece of British Naval history that never fired a weapon in anger. We visited between Christmas and New Year and for a while had the ship to ourselves. The staff are very knowledgeable and eager to support with any question you have. A great morning visit. We have a season ticket for all of the dockyard and are slowly visiting each part through the year. Being so close gives you a real understanding. Visiting Victory first will also give you an understanding of how life improved for sailors working on these ships.
Facinating historic ship. It is continuously being restored to resemble its original state as much as possible. Visitors can wander around the many decks of the ship. It's like an adventure and great for kids. The ticket price(s) are kind of steep, though..
