This is the first time I have visited since the new exhibition hall was built. I was very impressed with the whole layout. Easy access for able and disabled people alike. Exhibits were arranged in interesting show ases and the information was just enough without being 'overload'. I found the guides knowledgeable and friendly. They were very helpful in providing additional information not found in the tour book. The shop was well stocked with the usual type of souvenirs.

The Mary Rose Museum was an amazing place. It is so well thought out, with lots of interactive material giving information about the exhibits and the people who were on the vessel, as well as very knowledgeable museum guides who were first rate at answering our questions. We spent 3 hours but could have easily doubled that. We will definitely be returning

Absolutely fantastic museum and worth every penny to get in. The cost of recovering the wreck and it's continuing preservation is phenomenal and it's nice to know that my entry fee is helping secure it for generations to enjoy. The ticket is annual entry too, making it even better value (meaning all subsequent entries are free for the duration of the validity of the ticket. There's a decent cafe in the ticket hall, thought is a bit pricey, but serves up excellent home made pasties and treats.

If you're interested in history and particularly maritime history this is a must-see exhibition. The way the information is presented before you see the Mary rose is wonderful. And then when you actually get to view the ship it's very impressive. The light changes on the ship to help protect it but it also makes the experience very memorable. There are a number of staff wandering around in period costume sharing what life would have been like back when the Mary rose sailed. I would highly recommend.

Very state-of-the-art set up. Make sure you set aside at least 2 hours to explore. The displays were well-preserved and thought-provoking. It's worth purchasing tickets for Mary Rose Museum AND the others at dock, and return through the year to look again. I enjoyed the journey very much. So intriguing.
