Absolutely appaling place. They talk to you like dirt and sell you death traps at rip off prices.
Absuoultey disgusted with this people , they knew I was buying my first car and still let me walk away with a car that has caused me no ends of problems. I had only 6 months from the time I bought this car and in 6 months is broken 3 times the same thing , they fixed twice for me because was under a warranty and now third time broken again, I cant trust anything from them. They gave me a useless 3 month warranty that covered barely anything. The car was sold to me with a supposed clear MOT but there is no way it should have walked away without at least advisorys. The car has now cost me 3/4 of what I paid for it in repairs in just 6months. Do not buy, they don't care about you they only want your money. Save your money !
I knew in advance the make and model of used car I wanted (Peugeot 207SW 1.6Vti) and got regular alerts via emails from all the major websites. It was in one of those emails that I saw the car I finally bought and it was being advertised by Trophy. The price was right but reading the reviews you see here I admit I was worried! But I need to say here and now that my experience was totally brilliant.I rang on a Friday to arrange a weekend viewing and was told the vehicle was going into the workshop for some attention a timing chain which was something I was prepared to have done anyway on a vehicle of its age. On the following Tuesday it was good news, work done and ready to view. I travelled from London to Portsmouth especially to see the car and Amy kept me informed all the way. On arrival the car was having its MOT done and a new wiper blade fitted. The car was well presented and I was delighted. Amy sat with me as we took it for a spin and I knew Id found the one I was looking for. The point I want to make here is that Trophy didnt try to hide anything wrong with the car like some other dodgy dealers they did the opposite, they fixed everything that needed to be done!I now have a 10 year old car that looks and drives like new. Trophy sold it at a price that was so good I have money to spare to spend on anything that needs to be done. The new MOT had an advisory about the rear brake discs/hubs being worn hey, no big deal so Ill be more than happy to spend 80 on a new pair before the next MOT in a years time!So many thanks to Trophy, to Amy and her Father, for great service, a great deal and for making me a very happy man.
Not even worthy of one star but unfortunately Google do not permit this. Trophy Cars have been nothing but hassle from day 1. Would never buy a car here if my life depended on it. I would like to warn others to take notice of the negative reviews. These aren't negative for no reason. Please take note and steer well clear. Fobbed off all the time and will never take the blame for anything. Have cost me well over 2k to rectify the problem which is nearly the same value of the car. Refunds will only be rejected!!! Trophy Cars are worthy of an investigation as it seems it's not just me who has been left out of pocket. Dom Littlewood needs to get on this sham of a garage!!! Support your local just not this one!!!
I cant imagine the negative reviews are coming from the same place!I bough a used vehicle a few weeks ago that I had seen online. On the way home (about an hour away) the service light had gone on and then the engine light the next day. They provided a 14 day warranty on the engine and gearbox. I phoned them on the 2nd day and they advised to let them know if anything in the car changed in the next week. It didnt but I still expressed my concerns that the engine light was still on. I got some opinions closer to home and they suspected it was the head gasket. The owners went on holiday which brought me over my 14 days. Upon their return I brought the car back. They did some tests and did a full oil service on the vehicle all free of charge despite it going passed the specified time. Appears to be no serious problems, I have the car back and the customer service has just been fantastic. Everywhere else seemed to just want to give up on the poor car but here they cared about more about fixing it and wasnt bothered about the easy way out. Amy at the desk is really lovely and her father seems to know what hes doing. Would definitely recommend.
