Recently These guys sold me a 2009 seat ibiza on finance. And within ten miles the car had nothing but problems. There was some horrible clacking from the engine bay whenever going past 30mph when i picked the car up drove it home and wouldnt go past 65mph and eml came on I called herbert walkers and asked what they where going to do he said drop it back 5 days later and said i would have to drive it backOn the return jouney to them 17 miles. in the 3rd lane of the motorway at 60 the car completly died on me. Managed to get there doing 20 mph or less. When i arrived to the dealership was greeted by 1 of them being nasty and intimidating. Yes they took back the car under the cooling of peroid but refused to give me back my full deposit. And evan refused too give me a receipt to say i handed the vehical back to them until i pulled out my camera(lucky i did really as they denied all to the finance company) he was theatening with Voilence.and after a stand off finally wrote me a receipt now im still arguing to get back the deposit. All i can say is a load of unprofessional and fraud guys there. Shame because have read decent things about these guys but not the service i was given
I have bought a car from this seller. I have found some issues with the car within 2 days. But they fixed the issue. Later on within 2 weeks found another issue. They fixed that but charged me half of the cost. Even though they should have paid full under EU Consumer right. To be honest Nijel is a nice salesman. He knows how to convince customer. But the owner himself is very rude.
Called to enquire about a car told no dents or marks in the paint work at all, however when I arrived the car had a dent in the bonnet and major paintwork issues. I wasn't expecting a immaculate car as it is second hand, but the salesman's lying over the phone is poor. I decided with in 5 minutes that the car wasn't for me so told the salesman straight away that is wasn't for me as not to waste the garages time. Once I did it was like a switch flipped and the salesman got rude and aggressive, he said 'what were you expecting a new car' in an aggressive tone. I was not however I was expecting not to be blatantly lied to.
